The Dukes football star wanted to add his thoughts towards the big discussion.
1. Although the season is over, would you have liked to play a game against Smithfield or IWA?
"I would love to play a game against IWA because they think they are a state championship team in our district."
2. What advantages and disadvantages would your team have over Smithfield and IWA? What would they have over yours?
"I think we have more heart than IWA."
3. Smithfield has had considerable success in recent years and IWA is notorious for being a powerhouse. How would your team do against both teams?
"If we played in their district (IWA), we'd be in the state championship every year."
4. Although you lost to IWA in a scrimmage, how well would your team match up against the Chargers in a real game?
"In the scrimmage, we came right out of a football camp. We were tired. We were much better at the end of the year."
5. If given the chance for an end of year county game, which team would you choose to play and why?
"IWA. Towards the end of the year, both teams know how each other play. We got better at the end. The first scrimmage did not really show what our team was all about."
In Pittman's senior year, he received first team all Tri-Rivers District honors as a running back and honorable mention for his region. As a strong safety on defense, Pittman was named to the honorable mention list in the Tri-Rivers District. Pittman is considering attending Elizabeth State University for football.

first of all thats messed up to talk about the mans glasses like that and i would like to c u say it in his face. second the only reason yal have been any good the last 3 years is bc of the class of o8 that lead iwa to 3 state titles but jus as soon as ther gone it will be back to the way it was in 2005

Well, saying Windsor has more heart than IWA. How can you really even know such a thing?
Plus, it seems like Windsor smacktalks IWA constantly but never says much about Smithfield.
So, it just seems like Windsor at least despises IWA for some reason.
Pittman got destroyed by IWA as a Team in 2006, the only offensive production for windsor in that scrimmage came from Ely*sp the bigger Tailback. IWA has owned Windsor and they know it, all of this smacktalk windsor throws IWA's way is all pure jealousy. Pittman is not that good!! Get over it windsor boys football just isnt yalls thing. IWA and Smithfield will represent IOW county just fine yall keep on being good at Cheerleading?
we know smithfield is better, why challenge that. And it words both ways. Iwa thinkin they can compete with smithfield? NO. Just because you win ur regular season and win 2 games after that dosent mean ur good. means there are not lot of teams. usually means the few teams there are arent gonna be good. And Iwa saying they are better then windsor is what got this whole thing goin.
31-5 in the last 3 years and 3 rings, regardless of what division you are in merits a good football program. Where did I say IWA would beat Smithfield? Lord knows I would hope a div. 4 AA VHSL team could beat a VISFA div. 3 team regardless of how they do in their own divisions. How can you argue that IWA is not better, IWA has beat windsor easily(21 plus points) the last two years. Windsor may have more team speed or they may have better athletes( i havent seen them) but IWA has better FOOTBALL PLAYERS, it was obvious in 2006 and very obvious last august. Get over it guys

are you serious? iwa never owned windsor. never have never will. yeah ya'll beat us and congrats on your record and all that, but we don't talk smack bout anyone until something is said about us. the reason no one from windsor said anythnig about smithfield is because i don't see them sayin anthing about us. if pittman isn't that good then explain all the awards he go and not to mention he did it while splitting time in the back field this year and last year. i blocked for him 3 years n he is one of the most talented players i've ever seen and i'm talking about more than the atheletes in IOW

iwa has had a very good team the past three years considering the size of the school. i am from windsor but i do pull for iwa to win i like the heart and hard work they have. the two teams have competed in a scrimage for the past 5 years i think and ther are years wher iwa is better and years wher windsor is better and it will always be back and forth. the comment about iwa owning windsor i think is incorect bc iwa as only won the scrimmage the past two years in a row. how is that owning windsor?
sorry IWA has owned Windsor in the last two scrimmages, I know everyone has school pride and all, and im happy windsor won a few games this year but really all the windsor guys who have played against IWA the last two years knows IWA would beat them in a game. IWA has always been to good for them up front, When I played against windsor I was in the backfield chasing the windsor QB the whole scrimmage.

your rite about that our weekness has always been our linemen. good skill players but not much up front. but if we played yall again it would not be the same as the scrimmage and im not sayin we would blow yall out. it would be a very good game. i hope you atleast would agree with that

if they put together an all star team division shouldn't matter because you would be looking at the people one by one. and i played for windsor and i know for sure iwa would not beat us in a real game pal

I used to play for the Dukes, we have a very talented squad and if you disagree with that then you have serious problems. and people saying IWA owned us...... i dont think so, who owned who this year?? we did on both sides of the ball! and far as Pittman he is a very talented ball player, nobody from IWA is nearly as good as he is! I have played and practiced with him, run straight up with him and tell me how it feels when you get back up, if you get back up! STOP trash talking my squad and team members
